Exterior design services
Our signature offering lies in the outdoors, creating ethereal gardenscapes meant to inspire joy and wonder. We take on projects large and small, from planted container gardens to sprawling backyard landscapes. We work with you to discover the often-hidden potential within your space, and find inspiration straight from the local environment.
Interior plantscaping
Black Shed originally began as an Interior Plantscaping business. Back in 2005, we started our journey by designing and executing unforgettable plant installations for commercial and residential spaces throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. What sets us apart, then and now, is our distinctive aesthetic, our access to unique materials and our attention to detail.
Home styling
Black Shed loves to bring our expertise into the home, reimagining spaces both inside and out. We’ve worked with clients to create the perfect balance of form and function in every room of the house, transforming spaces by utilizing everything from natural light to energy flow. Our goal is to find balance in unexpected ways; pairing colors, textures, sounds and scent to create a fluid, natural and welcoming environment.
Maintenance
We go into every project with a vision to see these living art forms morph and take new life from season to season. Once an installation is complete, we also want to make sure it is properly maintained. While our intention is to create environments based on the local climate and landscape, we recognize that every space is unique and care is required throughout the year. We take pride in getting to know each client’s specific needs for their horticultural journey. We’ll work closely with you to make sure that our design concept and aesthetic stands the test of time.
