Social Media Specialist:
Role Summary:
As our Social Media Specialist, you'll own our presence across platforms — creating content, engaging our community, and turning followers into fans. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role perfect for someone eager to grow their career at a small business.
Role Responsibilities:
Plan, create, and publish daily content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and other relevant platforms
Write compelling captions, short-form copy, and scripts that match our brand voice
Shoot and lightly edit photo and video content (smartphone-quality is fine)
Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions — engage authentically with our community
Track key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and share weekly reports
Stay on top of trending formats, sounds, and platform algorithm updates
Role Qualifications:
0–2 years of experience managing social media accounts (personal brands, clubs, internships all count)
Strong writing skills with an eye for compelling visuals
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar design/editing tools
Self-starter who takes initiative and meets deadlines without heavy oversight
Genuine enthusiasm for social media trends and internet culture
